When you storytell with us (or access our services, apps, and website (our Platform), these terms apply. For more information, please read UNUM's Terms of Service

 

UNUM is unable to cancel subscriptions or issue refunds when payments have been made through the Apple Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). You may follow the steps below:

 

How to cancel an App Store subscription on iPhone or iPad
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage. 
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

How to cancel a Google Play store subscription
1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store .
2. Check if you're signed in to the correct Google Account.
3. Tap Menu. Subscriptions.
4. Select UNUM and tap Cancel subscription.

How to cancel a subscription purchased from UNUM Web?

If you subscribed through our web app, you can cancel your subscription anytime in accordance with our Terms of Service. To do so, tap your profile icon found in the bottom left corner of your screen and click the "Settings" gear icon.

Go to your desired Team under Organization & Brands (*note you must be the Owner of the team to update billing information)

Under Subscription section, you can see 'Change Plan' (recommended if you would like to switch to a different plan) and 'more' icon where you can view billing, update payment method, or cancel plan.

If you plan to end your subscription, we recommend that you cancel your subscription before the next payment cycle. Please note that uninstalling the app won’t cancel your subscription. You must actively cancel the subscription using the process described below.

 

NOTE:

There is no free trial on the paid subscription plans. We encourage members to explore the free plan before upgrading.

 

Refund

 

UNUM does not have the ability to process refunds for purchases made with Apple Pay (iOS) or Google Play (Android), so please contact them directly.

For purchases made directly through the UNUM website, all subscription fees (which may vary based on your team's plan) are in U.S. Dollars and are generally non-refundable.

 

But should there be a refund request, please note that these will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Please send us an email at [email protected] It is important that you explain your reasons and the UNUM Members Care Team will review said request.

 

 

Auto-renewal

 

Whether you choose a monthly or annual plan, your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. Your subscription will automatically renew each month or annually without notice until you cancel.

 

You can cancel your auto-renewal through the relevant App store or by
contacting UNUM support at [email protected]. Please process the cancelation request before the next payment cycle. It is best to send the request days before your auto-renewal date.

 

Note that when you cancel your auto-renewal, your subscription will be immediately
stopped, and you will lose access to the product and your content.
