How to use the UNUM Magic Hashtags & Caption (mobile and web)

Your posts that include stand out captions and #hashtags will drive stronger post engagement. 

Finding and discovering unique hashtags used to be very time-consuming. But, not anymore.

Using AI, UNUM's magic hashtag tool analyzes your photo or video and/or the initial caption you wrote and then it recommends unique #hashtags to use.

Here's how to use the Magic Hashtag:

In Web App:

1. Select a post you want to have hashtags (or caption)

2. The Post Detail toolbar will show up on the right side

3. Click on the Caption field.

• • You can either leave the caption field blank and the Magic Hashtag tool will base it on the photo
  • Or you can add a few words as supplementary details for the Magic Hashtag tool.

4. Tap the "Magic Hashtags" and wait for the AI-generated hashtags. 

5. Note: The resulting hashtags are already pre-selected. All of them will be included in your caption once you click "Add." If you see some hashtags that are not suited, you can click on them to be excluded.

6. You can then schedule the said post for reminding or auto-posting.

Note: The web app only has Magic Hashtags (Magic Content which includes caption generator is only available in iOS mobile app at the moment). The upgraded Magic Content in web app will be released in the near future. 

In Mobile App:

1. Select a post you want to have hashtags (or caption) by tapping it once and then the yellow Post Details icon on the lower-right corner. Or you can double-tap on the said grid post.

2. The Post Detail page will show up.

3. Tap on the Caption field.

• • You can either leave the caption field blank and the Magic Hashtag tool will base it on the photo
  • Or you can add a few words as supplementary details for the Magic Hashtag too

4. Tap the Magic Content icon (purple sparkles) and wait for the AI-generated hashtags and caption. You can choose among the following depending on what you need:

• • Generate Hashtags
  • Make Shorter
  • Make Longer
  • Change Tone (Formal, Casual, Straightforward, Friendly, Sarcastic, Simple)

Note: The Magic Content (which includes hashtags AND caption generator) is only available for mobile iOS

5. Choose among the hashtag and caption output you want to be included and then tap "Add to Caption" or "Replace Caption" for final results.

6. Tap "Done" and now you're ready for posting.

7. You can then schedule the said post for reminding or auto-posting.

Note: Android mobile app will have the Magic Hashtags by the end of June.
